When you are looking at baby products, be sure to look closely at the ones offered by the European market compared to what has originated from the Chinese market. Inexperienced parents might still be contemplating about going in for the cheaper Chinese alternative. However, once you learn some of the main disadvantages of these baby products, you might never again think about the Chinese option. Not to say that there are necessarily bad products, but once you learn about their origin and a little bit about the background, you might end up with the same conclusion as everyone else.

Quality is one of the main things that separate the two. The string of suicides in these factories in recent times is a testament to this fact. In Europe, this is not the case and employees are properly taken care of. Their needs are well taken care of and treated with respect which is reflected in their quality of work. Therefore, the baby products that originate here are carefully manufactured by people that are interested in their job.

The components that might be used in Chinese baby products are not always harmless or baby safe as such. If you want to avoid your baby from getting poisoned by toxic paint, it might be a smart idea to stick with the European baby products. With their emphasis on what paint and plastic or other material can be used, you will never have to worry about your child rushing to the emergency room for just putting some toy in their mouth. Don't forget about the massive pet food poisoning that led to a lot of unnecessary deaths some months back. The pet food originated from, you guessed right, China.

So, is the cost advantage really worth it? If you don't want your child to be exposed to this kind of danger, it is strongly recommended that you stick with European Baby products. Several years ago my family and I owned and operated a successful Food Service (HOT DOG) biz. This was a GREAT little business that was Extremely Fun an Profitable considering that We only put in about 3-4 hours a day.

Although things were “VERY Slow” in the beginning, business began to pick up as we began making a name for ourselves. Eventually We were able to make a pretty good living at this and did so for about 7 years. Our initial Start Up Cost for this Biz was probably somewhere around $3000-$5000 (Equipment Only).

We spent the first 3-1/2 years selling our products in New Bern, NC at the foot of the Twin Rivers bridge. Our location was right on the waterfront across from the City Park and our clientele consisted of a diverse mixture of both Blue collar workers and Professionals from the downtown area.

As our business began to grow, we were constantly being invited to cater various parties and social events. Obviously, this was good exposure for our business and because we provided a Fun, Affordable, Desirable product, we quickly became the “Hit of the Party” at many of New Bern, NC best Birthday and Sorority Parties, Political Fund Raisers, and LIVE “On Site” Radio Promotions.

Then,one day we were approached by one of our customers who asked us if we would be willing to provide our services at a Softball Tournament aboard a Marine Corp base at MCAS Cherry Point,NC. After investigating the requirements on how to do this, we were eventually Blessed with a government contract with MCAS Cherry Point that lasted another 3-1/2 years.

It had always been our intention to open a Full Scale Restaurant to better serve our clientele and after 7 years of paying dues, We were eventually presented with an opportunity to open our First Restaurant. However little did we know that we where about to learn an IMPORTANT lesson about the difficulties of opening a Restaurant and dealing with local Bureaucratic processes and doing business in our town.

Well, To make a LONG story short, lets just say that we winded up loosing EVERY DIME that we made trying to overcome the Bureaucratic Incompetence of some local officials, the (Health Dept. and Building Inspector). So, we spent 7 years busting our butts serving the local community only to see it ALL go “DOWN THE DRAIN“…

But, you know what folks, I DID NOT GIVE UP!!! Several years later we were “Once Again” given the opportunity to take over a floundering Restaurant, which we took advantage of. However, this was “NOT TO BE” either because of the timing of 911. When this Military community and all of it’s brave service men and women headed off to war, our local economy which pretty much depended on having them and their families here to support it, dried up!

So, after striking out again trying to open our Family Restaurant It was “Back to the RAT RACE” for me, working a regular 9-5

J.O.B, busting my butt for somebody else. Once again I was back in the land of LOW PAY, and LONG HOURS. And you know what, “IT SUCKED“!!!

Folks, let me tell you something; Once you get the Taste of running your own business “There’s nothing like the FREEDOM and EXCITEMENT of It”, no matter WHAT IT IS. If you have EVER ran your own biz, then you know what I’m talking about. But, If you haven’t then you really need to come to know this FREEDOM that I’m speaking about.

Folks, since closing my Hot Dog Biz, I have always known that “ONE DAY” I would find another business opportunity that I could Whole Heartily believe in and that would give me the same EXCITEMENT and JOY that I experienced when I was “Slinging Mustard” down by the river.

And even though the Internet was in its embryonic stages back then, I knew that the “KEY” to finding and Succeeding in my next business would be in utilizing the GREATEST TOOL ever invented!!! “THE INTERNET”!!!

So, I spent Several years looking into and trying most of the MLM, and Network Marketing opportunities out there. All Inclusive Vacation with Toddlers

Traveling to Mexico or Caribbean all inclusive resorts? Concerned about food and water? Do not worry, things will be fine. Here are some tips.

Bring a travel kettle to boil tap water to wash your kids sippy cups, plastic cutlery etc. Put a small amount of dish soap in a Tupperware dish and use that for soap.

Even if your hotel room tap water says it is drinkable do not drink it. Sometimes just a change in water even safe water can send toddlers stomachs/bowels for a turn. Therefore brush and rinse your teeth and tooth brushes with bottled water too. Just keep getting extra bottles in your mini fridge.
Bring lots of their favorite dry snacks from home for munching in the hotel room and by the pool or beach.
Eat fruit that has to be peeled. For example bananas, pineapple, mangoes, oranges etc.
It can be nerve racking experience if your toddler is a fussy eater. Do not worry; they will manage fine on fruit, crackers, toast, pancakes, yogurt, ice cream, French fries, muffins, hot dogs and pizza; not ideal but it is only for seven days.
Bring along a large pack of juice drink boxes, the single serving applesauce and mini Oreos and mini cereal bars.
Milk tastes a bit different in Mexico, so your child may not like it. All inclusive resorts always have fresh juices and if you bring your drink boxes you will have those too.
Bring along lots of extra baby face cloths as you go through them very fast. You only get a couple of face cloths in your room.
If you are worried about high chairs or other eating surfaces bring along a pack of bacterial wipes.
Bring the rubber bath mat from your tub to stop slipping in the shower or tub at the hotel.
Bring a large mesh laundry bag as you will have a fair amount of damp laundry and it can get smelly or moldy. if you have a balcony keep the bag outside.
If you do not have walky talkies consider getting a set. It will make your life much easier when you need to locate each other if one of you is in the room and the other at the pool etc.
Bring many more diapers then you think. You would need them as changes in food bring changes in bowel movements and frequency of them.
For fun bring small bucket and shovel for sand and collecting sea shells, inflatable water toy and some books and items for in the room, a portable DVD player and childs favorite DVDs for the flight and for in the room.

A small medical kit is very helpful should children become ill when traveling. The kit should contain medications for illnesses that children experience at home and for potential travel-related illnesses, and it should contain the telephone numbers of all the childrens health-care providers. Choosing a destination where there is no ready way of communicating with competent medical professionals adds an element of risk to the trip.

A typical medical kit should include the following.

Medications that the child has used in the past year
Antiseptic wipes, thermometer, gauze bandages
Insect repellents and sunscreens
Packets of oral rehydrating solutions
